About us
Landgasthof Hirsch in Dellmensingen – good at any time of year!
An overview of the history of our country inn for you:
- In 1663 the Counts von Werdenstein obtained the right to a tavern (“Schilderwirtschaft” – a tavern with the special privilege of catering to travellers arriving by horse and cart while other pubs (of lower level) were only allowed to host locals and people travelling on foot) with the “Hirsch” sign (Country Inn )
- 1854 Acquisition of the property by Anton Reize and since then in his family’s possession
- 1913 Addition of the grand ballroom
- 1970 Construction of the bowling alley
- 1990 Addition of the restaurant rooms and hotel rooms
- 1998 Reconstruction of the dining room and extension of the hotel rooms, and reconstruction of the kitchen using modern technology
- 2012 Reconstruction of the ballroom using modern design with a meeting and conference room and a bowling alley
Landgasthof Hirsch has therefore been recorded in history as an inn and distillery since 1663 and since that time we have always put great emphasis on the well-being of our guests with:
- a friendly, personalised service
- a fair price/performance ratio
- fresh, regional cuisine
We live by these principles.

We would be happy to book you in for our Rolls-Royce service for your very special celebrations.
Some of our dishes are based on traditional recipes handed down through generations of the Reize family, but, for a bit of variety, we also like to provide dishes on our menu that have a modern twist.
